BOOKS & MAPS
REQUIRED FOR THE SERIOUS HUNTER!
note:
many of these books are getting hard to find, and in another few years I'd expect they will not be available at all. I use the DeLorme atlases (below the book section -- scroll down) for my backcountry travel, and points in the site are direct references and gps reads from their maps and mapping software. How anyone can expect to navigate the backcountry without a DeLorme guide, I can't fathom, because they show all the jeep trails, trails, springs, landing strips, old fort sites, contour etc., etc. When I'm in the backcountry flying strips, I entrust my life to them!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:
